Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of therapy services provided by Talk Feel Heal Therapy, operated by Laura, based in Cheadle Hulme, Stockport. By booking a session, you agree to these terms.

1. The Service

Talk Feel Heal Therapy offers individual counselling and psychotherapy sessions, both in person in Cheadle Hulme and online via a secure video platform. Sessions are 60 minutes in duration unless otherwise agreed.

 

2. Fees

The current fee for an individual therapy session is £55. Fees are reviewed periodically and clients will be given a minimum of one month's notice of any change.

Payment is due at the time of booking or 24h prior to the session. Accepted payment methods will be confirmed at the point of booking.

 

3. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

We understand that life can be unpredictable. Our cancellation policy is as follows:

  • Cancellations made more than 48 hours before your session: no charge

  • Cancellations made within 48 hours of your session: 50% of the session fee will be charged

  • Cancellations made within 24 hours or non-attendance: the full session fee will be charged

To cancel or reschedule, please contact us as soon as possible by phone, text, or email.

 

4. Therapeutic Boundaries

To maintain a safe and ethical therapeutic relationship, the following boundaries apply:

  • Sessions will begin and end at the agreed times

  • Contact outside sessions should be limited to booking, rescheduling, or emergency situations

  • The therapeutic relationship is professional in nature; social media connection is not appropriate

  • Any concerns about the therapeutic relationship should be raised with your therapist directly

 

5. Confidentiality

All information shared within therapy is treated as confidential. Exceptions to confidentiality are outlined in our Privacy Policy and will be discussed with you prior to commencing therapy.

 

6. Suitability for Therapy

Laura reserves the right to decline or end therapeutic work if it is deemed that the service is not appropriate for a client's needs, and where possible will provide a referral to a more suitable service.

 

7. Online Therapy

For online sessions, clients are responsible for ensuring they have a private, quiet space with a stable internet connection. Sessions will not proceed if the connection quality makes effective therapy impossible.

 

8. Professional Standards

Laura is a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and abides by the BACP Ethical Framework for the Counselling Professions. She is also a registered Social Worker with Social Work England (SWE).

9. Complaints

If you are unhappy with any aspect of the service, please raise this with Laura directly in the first instance. If the matter is not resolved, you may escalate your complaint to the BACP: www.bacp.co.uk

10. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
